Weekend music concert in Nansha showcases local's charms

On July 6, the 2024 Weekend Music Concert series event took place at the Nansha Tianhou Palace in Nansha district. The event featured light shows, concerts, and the Tianhou Market, showcasing the vibrant colors and nighttime charm of Nansha.

A light show dedicated to Mazu and a light and shadow show utilized technology such as laser projection and AR metaverse to offer up a beautiful and awe-inspiring audiovisual feast.

On the water stage, a traditional music performance of "Chasing the Moon in Colorful Clouds" depicted the charm of Cantonese culture on a harbor night, while "Alien from Heaven" highlighted popular culture.

Dance performances along the central axis and archway entrance of the scenic area left the audience impressed, while a concert heated up on the square.

The concert combined Cantonese and Nansha culture, incorporating immersive performances such as singing and dancing, traditional music, and children's runway shows.

Additionally, the presence of booths featuring special agricultural products, delicacies, and intangible cultural heritage creative products attracted numerous visitors.

Looking ahead, Nansha will continue to drive the development of its nighttime economy, providing residents with a rich and diverse cultural experience.
