Mustang Rally

Since 2010, Mustang Rally has been an annual all-day, all-fun, all-school celebration of Mount Vernon spirit and community. The day begins with a student parade leading into a family picnic, an over-the-top carnival, and a silent auction with amazing opportunities and experiences. Some of the annual highlights include the Alpha/Omega piggy-back race, the grade-level field games and tug of war, face painting, carnival rides, and a petting zoo.

Mustang Golf Tournament

The bi-annual Mustang Golf Tournament is a highly anticipated event that blends the spirit of friendly competition with a meaningful cause. Participants gather on beautifully manicured greens to showcase their skills and engage in a friendly competition. Beyond the thrill of the game, this tournament serves as a vital fundraiser for the School. Proceeds from the event go towards enhancing educational programs, updating facilities, and providing resources that benefit students and faculty alike.

The 2024 Golf Tournament will be held on November 4, 2024, at Dunwoody Country Club.

rock the block

Rock the Block

A parent-only signature event, Rock the Block, has been a community-building social tradition since 2015. Each fall, parents take to the Upper Campus for an evening outdoors when the Atlanta weather becomes perfect for themed-fun, live music and refreshments el fresco.

At the moment when someone can say to themselves, "I’m a Mustang," they already have a sense of belonging. A feeling of pride. An appreciation for school spirit.

They are a part of the community. The Mount Vernon community.
