The official trailer for Venom: The Last Dance is here, offering more unhinged alien/human codependency.

Sony's third and final Venom film catches up with odd couple Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom (voiced by Hardy) — a journalist and a super-powered alien symbiote who lives in said journalists' body. The two find themselves on the run from both earthly and extraterrestrial threats after aliens from Venom's home planet arrive on Earth. They also find time to do some literal dancing and possess a horse.

Venom: The Last Dance's trailer doesn't overtly suggest that the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man might finally show up in the trilogy's last instalment. However, it at least appears to nod at past teasing of a potential crossover. A brief clip from the trailer shows a soldier (Chiwetel Ejiofor) trap a small piece of symbiote at a bar — seemingly the same bar where Eddie left a fragment of alien during his surprise appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home's mid-credits scene. Venom: Let There Be Carnage also teased a Spider-Man cameo in its mid-credits scene, which showed Eddie and Venom traverse cinematic realities to watch J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson rant about Tom Holland's Spider-Man on television.

Venom: The Last Dance arrives in theatres this October.
