Rye police are urging residents to lock their cars after a stolen Maserati was used in a crime spree, and two more vehicles were stolen over the weekend.
The department said a Maserati was stolen from the Greenhaven area in the early morning hours of July 4. The car was subsequently used in at least four commercial burglaries in Connecticut and Massachusetts before being recovered in Wolcott, Connecticut.
Two more vehicles were then stolen from Rye homes on Sunday. Police said one of the vehicles was left unlocked with the key fob inside. That vehicle was later found in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
