We are an amalgamation of past and present staff from Glasgow University. We are a social golf club that goes on monthly outings, and has competitions open to its members. You do not need to be a serious golfer or even be a member of a golf club to join, and all staff will be made most welcome.

Match took place at Glasgow Golf Club (Killermont) on Friday 31st of May 2024.
Result: Glasgow 7 v 4 Aberdeen
Ancients Match 2024 – (4 in a row)
2024 match took place at Montose and Brechin on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th of April.
Congratulations to the Glasgow team who retained the trophy again for the 4th year in a row with some impressive and dramatic victories.
Day 1 Glasgow 4 v 2 Edinburgh
Day 2 Glasgow 3 v 3 St Andrews (13 holes up v 9 holes up).
Winning team: Craig MacDonell, Wai Kwong Lee, Ian Salt (Capt), Paul Graham, Andy Smith and Steven Etherson.
Winner of the Perrie Pewter Pot – Paul Graham.
2023 AGM:
AGM took place at The Bothy on Friday 15th of March. thanks to everyone who attended and made it a really enjoyable evening.

2023 Winners:
Club Championship
The final was contested by Craig MacDonell and Calum Hill at Gullane . In a dramatic final Calum won with a birdie on the 20th hole in difficult blustery conditions. Well played to both players and here’s a few photos of the day.
Gents Singles
Bobby Gault and Jeff Kelly played the final at Cardross GC. Congratulations to Bobby who played good golf and is the new gents singles champion and gets his name back on the trophy he last won in 2006.
Ladies Singles
Moira Still and Lesley Porter played the final at Dunblane GC. In an exciting match that went all the way to the 17th hole Lesley Porter got the victory. Well played ladies!
4Ball Competition
David Gordon and Calum Hill played Ojore Oka and Zhenbo Cao in the final at Cawder Golf Club. David and Calum came out on top in an exciting match going to the 17th hole.
Outings Eclectic Winner 2023
The 2023 Outings winner was Joyce McGregor, with a combined (3 best) stableford score of 121. This consisted of 44pts at Williamwood , 39pts at Clydebank and 38pts at Cardross. Great shooting Joyce!
Quaich winner
Congratulations to Jim Steele who won the jubilee quaich at our August outing to Clydebank and district GC with 39pts.
Hole in One
Congratulations to Colin who scored a hole in one during our August outing to Clydebank and district GC at the 6th hole.
