Suspect wanted after allegedly choking, assaulting girlfriend in argument

SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding 20-year-old Richard Acevedo, who is wanted for assault bodily injury.

On June 24, 2024, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office was dispatched for an assault in far North Bexar County

When deputies arrived at the residence, the victim reported that she had been hit in the face and choked by Acevedo after confronting him over cheating on her.

While the two were in the car, they started to argue, which then allegedly led Acevedo to assault the victim.

The deputy’s report says she had visible bloody injuries to her face from the assault.

The victim also told deputies that Acevedo tried to choke her, however, she managed to bite his finger forcing him to let her go.

20-year-old Richard Acevedo fled the scene before deputies arrived according to the report.
