Man critically injured after being shot 4 times during fight on the West Side

SAN ANTONIO - A man is in critical condition after being shot several times at a West Side apartment complex.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday at an apartment complex on Skolout Street near Highway 90.

Police say the man walked up to the entrance of the building and got into a fight with the suspect. At some point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man four times in the back and chest before running off.

The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The search for the suspect continues.
