The Bexar County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding 36 Vincent Charles Mendez, who is wanted on a warrant for continuous violence against the family, a 3rd-degree felony.

On April 2, 2024, Bexar County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to an assault in west Bexar County.

When deputies arrived at the home, the victim reported being assaulted by Mendez. This was after she attempted to get away from him following a verbal disturbance.

Earlier in the evening, the two were at a local bar, when an argument started over a voicemail on the victim's cellphone.

The two parted ways from the bar, however, later in the evening while the victim was at their residence, Mendez arrived at the home and began an argument with the victim.

During the argument, the victim attempted to separate from Mendez by going out of a bedroom window, however, Mendez grabbed the victim causing her to fall and sustain injuries to her back and lower torso.

Following the assault Mendez reportedly retrieved a firearm from a drawer in the bedroom, placed it in his waistband, and fled from the residence before deputies arrived.

While the victim was speaking to investigators, the victim reported having been assaulted by Mendez on two separate occasions within 12 months.
