After a gas station attendant in Alabama made the grisly discovery of a severed human sex organ in his store's parking lot, police reportedly revealed how they believe it got there.

The sex organ, which was a human penis, belonged to a motorcyclist who was killed in a tragic traffic incident on a highway near Mobile, Alabama, the Mobile Police Department reportedly confirmed to Fox News.

The deceased was riding a motorcycle and lost control and fell off," a spokesperson with the department reportedly said. "Unfortunately, multiple vehicles struck him."
The appendage located at the gas station is not related to a murder or an assault," the spokesperson added, Fox News said.

Now reportedly identified as 29-year-old Christopher Means, the deceased motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene early Monday morning.

Of all the vehicles that allegedly struck him, only one stayed at the scene, according to Fox News. Police are reportedly still looking for the other drivers involved.

Means lost control of his bike moments before the fatal accident, police say. Following Means's death, "multiple sources" confirmed to the local newspaper Lagniappe that a "human penis" was found at the gas station on Monday. The gas station was located on a road near a highway.

Police say they believe multiple people unknowingly struck Means's body following the fatal crash.

One social media user claimed that Means was "literally torn to pieces on the interstate" and that "his penis fell off the front end of a truck when the truck got off the interstate," according to DailyMail.com.

Police have not detailed exactly how Means's penis managed to travel to the gas station, but Fox News does report that surveillance video at the gas station apparently shows the severed appendage falling from a truck that had stopped for gas.

An investigation into the incident and the discovery is still reportedly currently underway.

The National Desk has reached out to the Mobile Police Department to independently verify various details surrounding the investigation into Means's death, but has yet to hear back.
