Sonic manager shot to death identified, suspects still on the run

The identity of the Sonic manager fatally shot in San Antonio has been released as investigators search for the suspects.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 33-year-old Daniel Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury tragically succumbed to at least one gunshot wound at the scene. His death has been ruled a homicide.

This comes as police released photos of two people they suspect are involved in the shooting.

The shooting happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Sonic restaurant location at the corner of Babcock Road and Eckhert Road on the Northwest Side, according to police.

Authorities said a customer and the manager got into an argument over money when the customer pulled out a gun and shot the manager before fleeing the scene.
