Police say that just before 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed on State Highway 211 near the Government Canyon State Natural Area.

Investigators believe that the motorcyclist lost control once the road began to curve. They were ejected from their motorcycle and onto the side of the road.
