Geen Nieuws by Tineke De Meyer
Ward Heirwegh, a graphic designer based in Antwerp, Belgium, started a self-publishing imprint by the name of Verantwoordelijke Uitgever (“Responsible Publisher”). The first publication is a staple-bound booklet (250 × 135 mm) of 24 pages with textual fragments by Tineke De Meyer titled Geen Nieuws (“No News”). It’s typeset in HAL Timezone and Timezone Mono, released by HAL Typefaces. The booklet costs €4.83 and can be ordered via email. The author writes the following about the publication:
In January 2023 I decided to send occasional notes for a year to a number of people who I like in all kinds of ways. Not to tell something new or a complete story, but as a far wave, a hello, an opening. One of those people was Ward Heirwegh, who made a booklet with those fragments.
