Dear network members,

We are happy to share with you a summary of our activities and achievements over the past year in our 2018 Annual Report, which you can find at 2018.okfn.org.

Some of our highlights of the last year include the publication of the Frictionless Data Field Guide, the launch of version 1 of the Fiscal Data Package Specification, a new edition of the School of Data Fellowship programme, a successful Open Data Day 2018 and our contribution to various research reports in the field, such as the Open Data Charter Measurement Guide, a publication on citizen-generated data and the Sustainable Development Goals and the Africa Open Data Index and Africa Data Revolution Report.

A key feature of this year for OKI was also to make sure we are ready to face the increasing challenges to the open agenda in 2019. After a period of transition in our leadership team, we are delighted that we found our new CEO, Catherine Stihler, and were excited to welcome her on board in February 2019.
