Led by Senior Vice President Tracy Powell, the Division of University Marketing & Communications (UMAC) partners with University leadership, faculty, professional staff, and community members to develop and execute essential brand-focused marketing and messaging strategies in alignment with Drexel’s 2030: Designing the Future strategic plan and primary organizational goals.

Utilizing a coordinated surround sound approach that encompasses messaging platforms in all mediums and at all levels, UMAC is focused on sharing the Drexel story with a wide array of internal and external audiences through a unified, impactful delivery that reflects the University’s core values, vision, and mission.

Page Talbott, PhD, director of Museum Outreach for Cultural Partnerships and University Collections and Exhibitions and Stacey Swigart, director of the Atwater Kent Collection in the Lenfest Center for Cultural Partnerships, were quoted in a July 19 WHYY article that features "Philadelphia Revealed: Unpacking the Attic," a new exhibition from the Atwater Kent Collection at Drexel, which opened Thursday, July 18.
Meet the Team Putting Nutrition at the Center of Hospital Care in Rwanda
Drexel was mentioned in a July 17 Forbes article about Solid'Africa, an organization creating a network of farms, kitchens, and culinary centers that provide hospital patients with medically-tailored meals in Rwanda. Solid'Africa is partnering with the College of Nursing and Health Professions to develop curriculum and virtually train members of the organization in culinary arts and nutrition.
