We love these scenes because we’re watching characters that aren’t afraid to get theirs — they know just what they want, and all that has to be done to get there, and we applaud that. From romance to revenge to reproduction, these females set out on a mission of sex, and in most cases, mission very, very accomplished.
Don’t let the word “feminist” scare you here — it simply means women should be treated as equal to men. And when it comes to sex, we both want the same thing: a lovely, pleasurable time that feels damn good and is a lot of fun in the process. Which is precisely what makes these scenes as fierce and rewatchable as they’ve become. You go, girls.
