My Life is Murder: Season 4, Episodes 4-8 (Released July 1, 8, 15 and 22) *Acorn TV Original

The Acorn TV Original murder mystery crime comedy-drama returns to the platform this month for the last several episodes of its fourth season. My Life is Murder follows the adventures of retired gutsy Australian private investigator Alexa Crowe (Lucy Lawless) as she moves to Auckland to be closer to her brother. There, she ends up getting entangled in her old line of work as she helps solve various confounding crimes, all while trying to start fresh and adjust to her new life in New Zealand. Season 4 tracks Alexa as she’s continually pulled back into the crime busting business as her old boss (Bernard Curry) continues to call upon her for her insight and a young police data-analyst (Ebony Vagulans) looks to her for mentorship.

Signora Volpe: Season 2 Premiere, Episode 1 (Released July 29) *Acorn TV Original

After former British spy Sylvia Fox (Emilia Fox) tries to make a new life for herself in the gorgeous municipality of Panicale, Italy, she soon finds herself drawn back into her old line of work as she helps solve local crimes. Season 2 of the Acorn TV Original mystery crime series begins with a pillar of the local community found dead at his very own charity and Sylvia tasked with proving a woman’s innocence. Further adding to the excitement, a web of blackmail, family secrets, and forbidden romance leads her down a path that leaves Sylvia reluctant to reveal the true killer’s identity. For all of these thrills and more, be sure to catch the premiere of Signora Volpe: Season 2 later this month, only on Acorn TV.
