Final Shots: ABC Revamps Free Streaming App With New Digital Originals And Back Catalogue

Today ABC has announced the relaunch of their free streaming service, which is currently hosting 7 short-form originals, as well as full seasons of 38 classic shows including Felicity and Ugly Betty. The app will also offer live local streaming for 14 of Hearst Television’s ABC-affiliated stations.

According to a press release, the network has more than 40 new series in development in addition to the 7 digital originals including shows starring Ty Burrell and Iliza Shlesinger. The new shows will be released on a monthly basis. Aside from the aforementioned, other “throwback” shows that are currently streaming via the app’s newly-transformed interface include School House Rock, Betrayal and My So-Called Life, plus more.
