Nashville fans, rejoice! The country music series has officially been rescued from impending extinction by CMT. The cable network has picked up the former ABC series for a fifth season, each episode of which will be available for next-day streaming via Hulu.

According to Deadline, the Season 5 order is for 22 total episodes, in line with previous seasons of the show. ABC had surprisingly cancelled the country music drama on May 12th with fans vigorously campaigning and rapid negotiations taking form ever since. Lionsgate TV will continue to produce the series for the new season, which does not yet have a premiere date.

Broad Green Pictures has signed on to debut Amazon’s Kate Winslet drama The Dressmaker this fall in select theaters. The film, which mark’s Winslet’s first return to the big screen since 1997, was directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse and will hit theaters on September 23rd. [Deadline]

ICYMI: Hulu released an exclusive first look at Season 2 of their celebrated drama pilot Difficult People. In the hilarious new clip, Julie and Billy intimidate a new intern. The forthcoming season will premiere on July 12th.

The Workaholics crew (Adam DeVine, Anders Holm, Blake Anderson and Kyle Newacheck) are reportedly working on a Netflix exclusive feature titled Game Over, Man! The movie, which is being co-produced by Seth Rogen, takes its name from Bill Paxton’s famous line in Aliens, however, details on the plot are scarce. [The Hollywood Reporter]

ICYMI: Netflix released an official trailer for Season 2 of its original series Marco Polo, which will continue to follow the famed explorer’s adventures in Kublai Khan’s court. All new episodes will launch July 1st on the platform.
