The bad news is that Deutschland 83 has ended. The good news is that means you can now binge the entire eight part series in one go.
Binge-watching is a huge part of how we consume TV in America, but how common is it in Germany? Well, according to Deutschland 83 showrunners and creators, Anna and Joerg Winger, it’s not terribly mainstream over there.
We asked Jonas Nay, the star of Deutschland 83, and the Wingers what they do like to binge-watch, and the answers were a little bit surprising. Let’s just say that one of them is a big fan of New Girl…or should we say one of them is a big fan of the character Schmidt?
