Even if you are in the minority that actually likes season two of True Detective, it’s impossible to argue that the absence of season one director Cary Fukunaga hasn’t hurt. So what has the hunky director been doing in the mean time? Directing his third feature film, and soon to be Netflix original, Beasts of No Nation, which after month of buzz finally has a trailer. Based on the book of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala, the film focused on a young West African boy named Agu, played by newcomer Abraham Attah, who becomes a child soldier after his country (and family) are torn apart by civil war. Idris Elba stars as Command, the warlord who takes Agu in and teaches him the ways of war. The movie is due out in select theaters and on Netflix on October 16.
