Craig Conover Teases a Potential Career Move: “I Just Think I'd Be So Good at It"
The Southern Charm-er revealed his political ambitions during an interview with his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.
Since joining the Bravo-verse in 2014, Craig Conover has taken on a wide range of occupations: reality star, attorney, podcaster, restaurant owner, and founder of the eight-figure lifestyle brand Sewing Down South. Although he’s had plenty of success in various industries, the Southern Charm-er may soon extend his resume with an unexpected job title: elected official.
Craig teased the potential career shift during a recent appearance on In Bed with Paige DeSorbo — an interactive Amazon Live series hosted by his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.
Around the 4-minute mark of the July 2 episode, Paige asked her beau if he planned “on running for office in 2024.” Craig immediately smiled and explained why politics would be a fitting career path.
“I just think I’d be so good at it. I can fix a lot of the stuff going on,” he said.

Craig Conover is confident he could land a plunging plane
Paige was clearly amused by the conversation and Craig’s lofty self-confidence.
“Craig thinks he can land a plane if it was going down… you can’t,” she said with a laugh.
“Statistically, as long as you can get ahold of someone on the ground, 50% chance you can do it,” Craig responded. “They’ve tested it.”
Paige wasn’t convinced.
“I feel like a man wrote that,” she continued. “There’s no situation where 50% of people can land a plane.”
Craig Conover says he would be a "tough" politician
“There are autopilot features and it’s like a video game. I’m running to the cockpit no matter what,” Craig said before returning to the political topic. “And [with] international affairs, I can really do some work. I just think someone needs to really be tough on some people.”
Craig didn’t specify what “office” he’d like to pursue, but his comments suggest he’s eyeing a federal position. Perhaps a U.S. senator? A representative? President? Stay tuned…
Paige DeSorbo shares an update on her & Craig Conover's living situation
The interview came just days after fans got an update on Craig and Paige’s living situation. The latter addressed the topic during a chat with The Daily Dish, explaining why she was enjoying the long-distance relationship and living in between her NYC pad and Craig’s Charleston home.
“I am very into living in two places,” she said before joking about Craig’s unfamiliarity with the Big Apple. “I think Craig loves saying, ‘Oh yeah, we live on the Upper West Side,’ I don’t think he really even knows what it means. Like, if we put a map in front of him, I don’t think he could point it out. That is fun for me to watch him say that, so I like that.”
