In the Town of Banff, water distribution, sewage collection and storm water systems are operated and maintained by the Water services department. To ensure Banff has clean, safe water for generations, the Town maintains a high standard for water in provision of drinking water, water services and wastewater treatment.
- Banff's drinking water comes from deep underground wells and is rated as "high quality groundwater" by Alberta Environment.
