There are a two options for affordable housing for seniors in Banff, as well as additional support through the town:

- 34 one-bedroom apartments for seniors
- Tenants must have the need to reside in Banff and be able to maintain and look after their own needs
- Alberta Provincial Government subsidizes rents. Tenants pay 30 percent of their gross income
- Cascade House
- 24-bedroom supportive living facility
- Cascade House offers meals, housekeeping and laundry service
- 10 staff
