One Stool, Two Heights

Adjust the height of this Squatty Potty wooden toilet stool to match your needs or your toilet size. Choose your setting (7" or 9") when you assemble the stool with our included, easy instructions. Done pooping? Tuck it under the curve of your toilet base when not in use, slide it out when you need it.

Nature’s Call, the Natural Way

Squatty Potty bathroom stools for adults help reposition your body for a more complete elimination. When you squat, you go the way nature intended by unkinking your colon. Our bamboo toilet stool offers the warm look of real wood to match any home bathroom décor.

Studying the Squat

Designed with a gentle sloping surface (to place your heels higher than your toes), this toilet stool provides the extra lift to reposition your body in a squat to make it easier to poop. We’ve even given you a raised ridge on the adjustable foot platform as an anti-slip surface to rest your feet.

The Way Our Bodies Were Designed to “Go”

Human bodies perform more efficiently if we squat when we poop, which will unkink your colon. Our toilet stools support your legs at the proper angle, which creates a squat (legs at the proper angle: 35°) while you sit comfortably on the toilet seat.

Simply sit, lift your feet onto the stool then go poop. Your colon will be open, allowing you to eliminate completely. For different body sizes or toilet types, adjust the stool height.

  • Reposition your body from 90° to 35° to naturally loosen your puborectalis muscle
  • Can reduce time on the toilet
  • Easily eliminate the strain

Massive upgrade from the cheapo addition. Well worth it.
We purchased the cheapest "Echo" squatty potty as a super impulse buy while we were watching Shark Tank. Seemed like a great idea. I know I always had a good experience pooping in the woods with my back pressed up against a tree. It all just "falls right out." So why wouldn't this work?Turned out it worked great! Only problem with the Echo is that it looked about as nice as what it's supposed to help ease out of you. Seriously, that white plastic just looks awful and collects dirt like nobody's business. And perhaps for structural reasons, it's friggin' huge. And just doesn't feel nice to move to and fro under the toilet. So my roommate and I both still love the thing, and we joked about "upgrading" for Christmas. Well, I decided to buy the bamboo for his birthday instead. And it's awesome. Not only is it just as effective as the cheapo edition, it takes up a much smaller footprint in the bathroom, and also LOOKS NICE. It's not this embarrassing weird thing... it's actually quite gorgeous. I admired it in my hands for some time before we moved it into position. And it's a pleasure to move in and out thanks to some built-in handles on the sides. Basically all my complaints of the "gateway drug" that is the molded plastic version are evaporated here.Yeah, you could definitely make one yourself with some woodworking skills! And you should! But if you can't, you should get this.FYI, shipping was a little slow, even with Prime, and this didn't arrive in time for my friend's birthday. Don't know why .... But keep that in mind if you are planning as a gift. Now the only question is what to do with our previous squatty... we only have one bathroom...The only design I flaw I can see so far is the "traction" (?) grooves in the top might collect extra dirt and unwanted stuff as opposed to a flat design. Remember to clean your squatties regularly!

I bought one of these to help me out after having issues due to severe back/nerve problems followed by surgery. I was skeptical but actually tried a make shift version of my own first. After that seemed to give the theory credit I spent the $67 to get the bamboo version. I didn’t want an ugly white stool in my bathroom. I’ll admit I’ve never seen one in person but I didn’t like the pic so I went for the upgraded bamboo version. When it arrived it was very nice and I was pleasantly surprised. It was excellent quality. The wood is thick and it’s sturdy. Was very easy to assemble and looks nice in my bathroom and not an eye sore at all. I’m actually back to order a second one since we are moving to a place with two bathrooms. As far as if it works or not I’d say yes. Most of the time it’s very helpful. Once in a while it doesn’t seem to help but it’s not a miracle and I doubt it would work every time for every person. But overall it’s a big help and I often grab it and take it with us on trips. When I get some extra cash I might buy a third to keep in the car for trips and vacations. Buy it and give it a try. I think you’ll be happy to have it.

It all started one day when I was having some inconsistent bowel movements (I know this is not a very pleasant way to start but I was not a very pleasant situation). I started searching the web for the "art of pooping well" and low and behold, I came across the Squatty Potty. To be honest, it seemed a little goofy to have a little wrap around stool for my throne but having spent some time in India, and having seen countless people squatting for their daily constitutional, this didn't seem like such a far fetched idea. I went for it and when it arrived, I set it up right away.
The first thing that I noticed was that it is very nice looking. When i first put my feet up onto it, I was surprised at how high my knees were. Almost too high. But what came next was an easy and fast movement, like I have hadn't had in a while. It didn't take long to get used to the feeling of my knees so high up and now I feel robbed if I can't use the Squatty Potty for number two's. It really helps move things through your system naturally. I won't go further into the science of it here, its all on their site. I was a little concerned that guests staying at our house would find it strange but it turns out that they liked it too! This product has really moved things for me and I highly recommend it.

I’m disappointed with the new model of the Squatty Potty Tao Bamboo Adjustable Toilet Stool. The older one I purchased is more stable, although I did have to glue the feet into it, to keep the feet from coming off. However, that’s a small price to pay for a more stable product.

With the newer model, it’s easier to tip over, which is certainly not ideal. I wish Squatty Potty would go back to making this Tao Bamboo Adjustable Toilet Stool like they used to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the nicest squatty potty out there
Reviewed in Canada on November 10, 2016
I have been told to use a squatty potty from numerous people who swear by it. And I'll be the first to admit that the unicorn advertisement convinced me it was worth it.

But I hated the way they looked so when I found this wooden one online I decided to give it a try. Yes it's a little pricey but I think the benefits you get from it over time is worth it. When it arrived it did require some assembling but I was able to do it very quickly without any help from my husband. The directions they provide are very clear. You can also decide to set it to different heights depending on the type of toilet you have.

It tucks nicely under the toilet seat and also looks great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to benefits it offers but also want something that's nice enough to keep out.
