I have been buying Soom tahini on and off for the last few years. The flavor is outstanding. I make hummus almost weekly and after going through the effort of soaking the beans, standing over them for what seems like forever skimming off the skins, adding the other fresh ingredients, the last thing I want to do is add inferior, stale tahini. Occasionally I convince myself to try a less expensive supermarket brand. The flavor isn’t quite as good, but I tell myself I should save money. Invariably I’ll open a container that’s completely separated and rock hard stale on the bottom. That’s when I say never again, and order me some Soom!

If I had to come up with a negative, I’d say, I’m running out uses for all the empty jars!

I love hummus and this tahini takes my hummus to next level good. Some other brands are bitter, but this is just perfect. If you use tahini for any recipe this is the best brand out there. While they don't sell it at my local stores, at least i can purchase on Amazon.
The extra cost is worth it when it tastes so much better than other brands. And, let's face it, groceries are a bloody fortune these days so we don't want to buy something that isn't good.
