Really Cute - But Worked Like a Charm...

I bought this little "Easy Bake Oven" for a camping trip that we took. We took an Airstream trailer and I thought this had a cute retro look and I was decorating everything with this light blue or turquoise so it was a must have just for décor. Our trip was last week and we used this every day. Mostly we used it for the coffee maker - it was quick to brew and it was hot, so that's all we needed. Be aware that you need cone shaped filters. It has a reusable filter but I never like those and for camping I didn't feel like cleaning out grounds. I probably will never use the little griddle on the top - but did use the little oven to toast a bagel and that was perfect too. So if you're looking for something for your apartment, dorm room, or in our case, your camping trailer, this really is a useful and charming little appliance. I'm including a photo that shows it in our little kitchen / dining area of the trailer.

Very cute & does its job, but arrived slightly damaged in transit

I purchased this as a birthday gift for someone else. Product is very cute & works as advertised! However, it loses a star because it was damaged upon arrival.
The casing surrounding the coffee maker is plastic & it was obviously just chipped during transit as the small broken piece (merely a cosmetic issue) was still in the packaging with the product; we hot glued it back on & it's nearly unnoticeable, but that was still a slight disappointment. There is another crack in the plastic casing as well but again, I believe the damage occurred during transit, & the product was purchased open-box so it could have been MUCH worse.
I also noticed that the *light* for the coffee maker switch does not stay on unless you push very hard, but the coffee maker still works even if the light is not lit on the switch. Again, that's purely a cosmetic issue. Otherwise it seems like it's got plenty of room for a bagel, sandwich, toast, whatever & it brews coffee just swell 4 cups at a time! Haven't gotten to try the skillet yet.

Bought this instead of Easy-Bake oven for Christmas,I wanted to stay up all night and play with this, It's adorable. My daughter is 12. She wanted Tiny Kitchen things for Christmas, it's the youtube fad, kitchen things that are 1.5" tall. Cute, but stupid safety wise. I Did this instead! SUPER AFFORDABLE, allowing me to still afford, Melissa and Doug brand stainless steel utensils, and pot, & pans, that function. Such a great gift. She celebrated her entire Christmas break with her kitchen. Just used only water instead of coffee, she made hot chocolate, toast, an egg, cake, all by herself. She set it up in our basement kitchen, made some signs, and set up "Sue Lou's Cafe", complete with a few of our small end tables, and kid chairs. Uncle Trent, and Aunt Jamie were some of her first customers. Little flower, menu, and napkins on tables. She even had a tip jar. When I find the pictures I will post them.

I love this little thing. I only give it 3 stars because it is not high quality. Everyone that sees says it is adorable, like an easy bake oven-it is. only easy bake ovens are probably higher quality. The first one i received, arrived broken, as if it had been dropped from a building. One of the legs was broken, the black handles for the timer/mode were broken, the spout for the coffee filter was broken, and it had several dents on one side of the metal. Amazon immediately got me another one to replace it, no trouble. Upon receiving the 2nd one, it was in better shape, so i put it in my classroom, threw away boxes, packaging, etc. I primarily wanted it for regular hot water to make tea, but i knew i would use the toaster oven some too. Well, about 3 weeks later, i tried to use the toaster oven and realized the black handle for the timer was broken. It was too much hassle and too much trouble to send back AGAIN, so i just use pliers to do the timer. It sucks for a brand new appliance and cost a little too much for the trouble, but the hot water is my primary use, the coffee side works perfectly, so it doesn't bother me too much. If you purchase it, check EVERY item on the thing before you decide to keep it. Make sure the plastic handles are in good working order, check the swivel coffee filter holder for function, check for dents and broken legs, then if all is well, i think if you take care of it, it will be fine.

I don't think I have given a bad review before. This is not worth your money. It is like A Kids toy. It moves all over the place so you have to hold it in place while removing coffee pot or opening oven door. It will only hold one piece of toast and after 15 min last night, it wasnt toasted still. If you do not hold the lid on the coffee pot while pouring it will be all over the place. I know $36 is not a fortune, but I expected a little more. The coffee pot holds one mug of coffee. It is pretty to look at, period. Move on, nothing to see here.
