I LOVE my Clarisonic! This set came with soap, I like the soap but I can't use it often because it drys my skin a little bit. I'll use it if I'm just going to wash my face with my hands though. I use the brush once a day, usually after I workout or when I get home from work- I tried using it twice a day and my skin got sorta dry. I feel like the Clairsonic has helped reduce the oilyness of my skin! The brush head that came with it is nice and soft, but still gets the job done. The price is kind of off putting, but it's worth the money.

I cant say that I'm surprised that this brush actually works. It doesnt feel cheap and holds well in the hand. I washed my face the way I was normally washing it and then went in with this, it still took off a good amount I didnt know what there. Ive used it with cleaners, scrubs and oils. Ive used it to take off stubborn clay masks. I have the foundation head that I use to apply liquid and creme products. It charges fast and hold the charge for a good while. With the option for brush heads I'm sure it can meet many and any needs. I have noticed that I have less breakouts and that my pours look smaller. Very impressed.

This review pertains to all Clarisonic systems. They work great when it comes to exfoliating - I pretty much agree with all of the positive comments on results. However, after a while, the Clarisonic units loose their ability to hold and maintain their charges - usually pretty soon after the manufacturer's warranty expires. I bought one of the 2nd generation units and a later generation unit, paying a lot more than they are charging for the Mia's, and it seems to be a universal issue. Clarisonic is notoriously unhelpful despite the fact that this is a serious flaw in their high-priced units. Their customer service is unresponsive, and when you do get someone on the phone, there is never resolution. They have refused to replace with a refurbished unit or change out the battery on my unit for a fee. I was willing to pay for their servicing and they refused! They are clearly considered to be disposable units. So , do they work? Yes! BUT - you should consider the price and the fact that you will have to replace it every year if you want to keep up with it. There are now a lot of less-expensive but comparable units on the market. I recommend you do your homework before you lay down your hard-earned cash for a Clarisonic!
